On Tuesday, March 19th, The Old Mission Rotary Foundation awarded a grant of $5000 for camp scholarships for children living in the underserved community of City Heights.
The Copley-Price Family YMCA opened its doors to the public in 2014 and proudly serves one of the most diverse communities in San Diego, offering a supportive environment for people in the City Heights, El Cajon, Kensington, Hillcrest, Talmadge, and North and South Park areas.
Old Mission Rotary has a long tradition of supporting the Copley-Price YMCA and meets at their beautiful, state-of-the art facility every Tuesday at noon. Lunch is catered by the onsite UrbanLife Cafe which is a YMCA program that trains youth in food service and retail restaurant operations.
