On May 11, 2024, the Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club hosted a Golf Ball Drop and Silent Auction at the Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. The event aimed to raise funds and awareness for local charities aiding at-risk youth. The Boys & Girls Club Griset Ranch, The Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, and Lifeline Community Services were among the beneficiaries.
The event saw 185 guests who witnessed the thrilling drop of 3,000 numbered golf balls from a helicopter, with the closest ball to the hole winning a $2,000 prize. Guests also enjoyed a selection of fine desserts, appetizers, and cocktails on the veranda, which provided breathtaking ocean views. The event was a triumph, raising over $57,000.
