On Tuesday, August 6th, the Art Pratt Foundation of Old Mission Rotary awarded a $1500 grant to the American Academy of Pediatrics, California Chapter 3, in support of their Reach Out and Read Program.
The San Diego Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics has been a reliable advocate for children's health and well-being. Since 1961, they have not only provided services to local pediatricians but also managed numerous community projects aimed at promoting child health initiatives.
The Reach Out and Read program leverages the special bond between parents and medical professionals to nurture essential early reading skills in children, beginning from infancy.
