The Rotary of Escondido After Five announces its plans for their 1st Annual Salsa Dance Festival, “Dance for the Cause” fundraiser to be held Sunday, October 25th at the 4 Points by Sherton Hotel on Aero Drive in San Diego.
This “Dance” will be from 6pm until 11pm, with live Salsa music performed by one of San Diego’s top salsa bands, The Manny Cepeda Orchestra. Doors open at 6pm, FREE Dance Lessons from 7pm until 8pm, followed by live music until 11pm.
The Rotary Club of Escondido After 5 Salsa Festival will be first for the Club. “We hope this event will become an annual fundraiser that will grow in the years to come. We wanted to try something unique, that is fun and affordable. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego. Additional proceeds will be used to help the underserved in the community, with a focus on youth”, stated Doug Clark, After Five’s Immediate Past President.
Get out your dancing shoes and dress to impress for this night of high energy dancing to great LIVE salsa music. Don’t know how to dance? FREE dance lessons at 7pm will help, but salsa music just has a way of making you move to the beat.
