As we begin a new Rotary year together, we do so stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. Their vision, generosity, and commitment to Service Above Self, created a legacy that inspires us today. Now it is our privilege—and our responsibility—to build upon that foundation as we Unite for Good to continue to Create Lasting Impact.
Across our district, comprised of 57 Rotary clubs, eight Rotaract, and forty-three interact clubs represent the very best of our communities. Together, we have an extraordinary opportunity to invest in our greatest resource—our youth—through mentoring, leadership, friendship, and service. By welcoming new members, strengthening our clubs, and encouraging meaningful connections across generations, we ensure Rotary’s future remains bright.
This year is also an invitation to connect beyond our own club meetings. Join fellow members at our Foundation Seminar in November, celebrate fellowship at our Spring Family Picnic in April, experience Rotary’s birthplace during our Rotary One Headquarters trip to Chicago in May, and be inspired by thousands of Rotarians from around the world at the Rotary International Convention in Barcelona in June.
Please accept my call to action to help our district continue to be a leader in RI foundation and polio plus giving as well as net membership growth. As a suggestion, review what your club has achieved over the past five to six years, look for the best the club has achieved and set a goal to do a little better than your best! That will be an outstanding result!
Together, let’s make this a year filled with purpose, laughter, new friendships, and unforgettable service. Every conversation, every project, every act of kindness strengthens our Rotary family and leaves a legacy that will inspire generations to come.
