Thanks to the collaborative effort of the American Legion, the Brothers of 6, and community members who volunteered their time, downtown Escondido was filled with smiles as the community enjoyed a parade honoring our veterans on Friday, November 11. There were nearly 50 organizations marching down Grand Avenue, and many of members of the Escondido Rotary Club participated proudly displaying their club banner,
The parade was followed by a ceremony at the American Legion, which also included lunch and live music. Escondido's new club booth was prominently displayed next to the band and staffed with several of their members.
