It's time to start planning your club's participation in District 5340 Leadership, Ethics, Aspirations, and Determination (LEAD). The dates are 10-11 October 2026.
Clubs should prepare their Rotary Year 2026-2027 budget requests - cost is $300 per sponsored students - and be sure to start working with their sponsored middle schools to identify current 7th grade students that school administration feels already display outstanding leadership skills and would be great LEAD candidates in the next school year.
Clubs looking to participate for the first time (or after a long recess) can contact the LEAD Committee and we'll help you with establishing contact with your neighborhood schools and promoting the program effectively.
Since the program is at NO COST to the school or the students, it's a great opportunity! We're also willing to provide a quick 10-minute LEAD presentation at your club meeting anytime between now and October. Just let us know!
