The Community Interact Club of Chula Vista Sunrise is collaborating with the City of Chula Vista, the South Bay Ecojustice Team, and the South Bay Sustainable Communities non-profit to host a virtual South Bay Earth Week event next week in conjunction with the City of Chula Vista Earth Day @ Home Event!
Students will have 15-20 minute Earth vignette sessions in the late afternoons and evenings on topics such as: sustainable living, eco-conscious consumption, backyard composting, regenerative and organic gardening, home energy efficiency, upcycled clothing choices, CSAs and community co-ops, creating cost-effective naturescapes, food waste reduction strategies, and more! Plus, they will wrap up the evenings with a special Earth Week Story Time from 8-8:20pm. You are invited to join them.
