The Escondido East Rotary Club kicked off their Thanksgiving by donating 64 turkeys to Interfaith Community Services, a non-profit that aids the homeless in North County. They then collaborated with other Escondido Rotary clubs to deliver 107 turkey meals to homebound seniors who are either on a tight budget or lack family gatherings to attend.
The participating members received heartfelt Thanksgiving wishes during their conversations with the seniors. This annual event consistently brings immense joy to the recipients as well as to the volunteer Rotarians.
