The San Diego River Park Foundation was founded in 2001 and is dedicated to conserving the water, wildlife, recreation, culture and, community involved with the San Diego River. The foundation has brought people together throughout all of San Diego County with different volunteer opportunities and events.

The River Studio at Grant Park will act as a new home for the River Park Foundation's Education Program and is located in the heart of Mission Valley. With nature as a classroom, it will annually provide free, hands-on STEM learning experiences to thousands of kids with the goal of inspiring pursuit of STEM education and careers and a love for the river.
