Now is the time for clubs to select their teams of student ambassadors for our 15th Annual Rotary Model United Nations Conference. We train high school students to be effective negotiators, consensus builders and peacemakers by debating current day international issues that are presently being addressed by the real United Nations. Students also learn important skills in conflict resolution, analytical thinking and public speaking. Here is what you need to know:
- Register teams by December 31, 2018 by notifying Kevin Cahil at kcahill558@gmail.com and Bink Cook at binkcook@gmail.com
- The 2019 Model UN Conference will be held April 6-7, 2019 at USD's Institute for Peace and Justice
- The cost to participate is $750 per team (two students and one advisor)
- Training for students and advisors will be held on January 26, 2019 at Canyon Crest Academy
