The Optical Mission of the Rotary Club of Meycauayan East of District 3770 in partnership with sister club, the Rotary Club of Sweetwater San Diego, was started last October 16, 2021 with the aim of providing comfort to at least 100 school children with eye problems. In early 2022, COVID conditions eased up in the Philippines allowing the mission to resume providing free eye consultations, examinations, testing and eye glasses to elementary school children in the nearby communities of Meycauayan City.
