The Rotary Club of Poway-Scripps has been busy this year providing Service above Self. They started in January with a blood drive. In February they donated 50 Hygiene kits to Interfaith Community Service follow shortly thereafter donating a lot of hygiene products to San Diego’s Your Safe Place. In March lots of items were donated to Poway Unified School Youth in Transition and helped them pack up 100 bags of items to hand out at their grab and go day to their needy families. Also donated approximately 100 baby items to STEP (Support the Enlisted Project) for their Baby on Board project. Working on several more upcoming projects as well as beginning to plan for the Poway Rotary parade, their annual fund raiser scheduled for Sept 14.
