The responsibility for growing our Rotary clubs does not belong to the Membership Committee alone. It belongs to every Rotarian.
Each member is an ambassador of Rotary. We know everyone is making a concerted effort to grow their clubs. Here is a challenge from Zone 26/27 to help in your efforts.
A simple call to one game-changing action to meet RI's goal of 1.25 million Rotarians and 125,000 Rotaractors by RI's 125th anniversary in 2030!
The game is simple, just follow the steps below:
1) Share your Rotary Why.
Tag one potential Rotarian. Make one new connection. This turns every member into a storyteller and ambassador during Membership Month.
2) One Game-Changer Action: “My Rotary Why” Challenge
Post a 30-second video or an action photo on social media answering: “Why I find purpose by serving through Rotary?” Tag one member and one person who is not a member, but who might connect with that purpose and invite them to learn more about what “how and why”!
Other actions that could make a difference:Invite one person to learn about Rotary.
Reconnect with one former member.
Bring one guest to a club meeting or service project.
Personally welcome and engage one new member.
Ask one friend: “Would you like to make a difference with us?”
3) “The One-Action Challenge”
Take a single action, multiply by one member and one potential member – this can become a game changer.
One new step. One new connection. One new member - One action that could change the future of your club, our district, our Rotary, in our community, in ourselves!
