We are proud to announce the launch of District 5340's new Speaker's Bureau, a dynamic platform connecting experts in various fields of interest with clubs wanting to be inspired, knowledgeable and in, some cases entertained.
All speakers will be vetted through a process that starts with you. Currently, the bureau has a limited listing, but it will grow with your help.
We need your recommendations for creative, thoughtful, innovative and inspiring communicators who will make good speakers that drive meaningful dialog within club meetings and/or provide an uplifting experience. They could be leaders of non-profit organizations, grant recipients with an inspiring story or experts in the field of finance, education, industry, or even a speaker who teaches the proper techniques of using a Kazoo.
To submit a proposed speaker, there is an online application that club leaders can complete that asks for the following:
- The category the talk falls into (drop-down menu)
- The topic
- Overview of presentation
- Speaker's name
- Speaker's email
- Speaker's phone number
- Speaker's website/LinkedIn
You will also be asked to upload a headshot of the speaker.
Once the application and vetting process are complete, speakers will be added to the Speakers Bureau listing.
We hope that with your help we can quickly grow the Speaker's Bureau to have a plethora of options for you to choose from. We know that quality speakers make for a good Rotary meeting. Thank you in advance for helping us provide this valuable resource to you.
