What a wonderful beginning! On August 25th, we had 20 people tee off on a beautiful day at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. The game was a Scramble, and the winners were Brian Solomon, Larry Gonzales, and Barbara Kleber, coming in at an amazing -12! Your winning prize will be awarded on September 29th at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, where we have tentatively scheduled the next event with expected tee times beginning at 12:30 PM.
The Rotary Golf Fellowship will be meeting monthly on the last Monday of each month at various golf courses situate in and around San Diego. The initial feedback from the participants was very positive. We realized that the later tee times at Encinitas Ranch did not give us an opportunity to meet for a drink afterwards so we will be getting earlier tee times in the future. We also realized that in order to make the teams in advance, we will need everyone to prepay their green and cart fees.
The Rotary Golf Fellowship is open to all Rotarians and others who enjoy playing golf and meeting new friends. The dynamic of how our group will evolve requires input from all of you.
