A great group of Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotarians and friends showed up on November 13 to pack all the makings for a hot breakfast. The package has a vitamin mix, soy protein, oat meal and a cinnamon apple flavor. All elements were grains or powders measuring 252 to 254 grams to be exact when combined. Club members finished 1728 packages of 6 portions packed 48 to a box in 36 boxes to go to the San Diego Food bank. Do that math and that is 10,368 portions. The Community Outreach Program out of Iowa is the non-profit who has the concept and excellent execution. Great job everyone!
