Join volunteers for Community Climate Action Day – San Diego, a volunteer service event and celebration of Love Your Wetlands Day, organized by the UC San Diego Natural Reserve System and the San Diego Audubon Society, and co-hosted by Mayor Todd Gloria’s Office, HandsOn San Diego, and San Diego community organizations!

Event check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., with the kickoff at 9 a.m. at Kendall-Frost Mission Bay Marsh Reserve featuring elected and local climate leaders. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and light breakfast before departing for their service projects at 9:30 a.m. Volunteers will be completing service projects in many different areas, including:
  • Native seed planting and invasive plant removal.
  • Tree planting.
  • Learn about and protect Mission Bay’s wetlands!
Service projects end at 12:00 p.m., followed by a free lunch and more fun at the Love Your Wetlands Day event, which ends at 4 p.m. Join us and many other volunteers passionate about climate action for this Community Climate Action Day! Learn more about the event!
