Escondido Sunrise Rotary President Gerry Fay and Grape Day 5K co-founder Jim Ponder recently had the honor of presenting a donation of $25,000 to Renata Sahagian for the National MS Society funded through proceeds raised at this year's Grape Day 5K fundraising event.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic and often disabling disease that affects the central nervous system. While there’s still no cure, continued funding is vital, supporting research & treatment options, as well as providing resources for individuals and families living with MS.
Escondido Sunrise Rotary has been a proud supporter of the MS Society since the very first Grape Day 5K, 15 years ago with no plans to slow down. The club is already looking ahead to what the “sweet 16” year of their 5K will bring.
The Grape Day 5K is a fun, family-friendly event that celebrates the charm of Escondido while making a meaningful impact in their community and beyond.
