Over the past weekend, the Rotary Club of El Cajon and clinical volunteers ensured the success of this quarter's Thousand Smiles Clinic. Rotarians prepared over 200 sandwiches for the patients and their families. The clinic welcomed more children than any prior weekends, keeping everyone very busy. On Friday, Rotarians received assistance from J. Serra High School students in San Juan Capistrano, who are members of the Thousand Smiles Club. The Rotarians showed great interest in learning about this new service club. Meanwhile, Rotarians learned that Francis Parker is in the early stages of establishing a Thousand Smiles clinic, inspired by the commitment of a student (in attendance at the clinic) whose father, a dentist, regularly volunteers his services at the Thousand Smiles Clinic.  It was a awesome and inspiring weekend for all.
