This March 2026, in partnership with Rotary and Every Kid Plays Foundation, we are equipping a school in Liberia with a computer lab and offline digital library so students can learn, grow, and prepare for the future. This will be our 4th project and it is almost completed. Only $3,500 stands between planning and impact.
Years ago, my journey toward computer literacy began with a very simple need: one dollar. At the time, that one dollar represented access to a computer, to basic digital training, and to a future that felt far beyond my reach. I had the desire to learn but not the means. Then, a generous donor stepped in and gave me that one dollar. It was a small gift with a life-changing impact.
That single act of generosity opened the door for me to become computer literate. It changed the direction of my life, equipping me with skills that unlocked education, leadership, and service. I never forgot that moment—because it taught me a powerful truth: when opportunity meets generosity, lives are transformed.
In 2021, that lesson became a mission. Destiny Hands International was founded as a nonprofit organization established to serve vulnerable communities through education, empowerment, and sustainable development. Today, through Destiny Hands International, we are leading the BENDIS Project — Building Education through New Digital Innovative Solutions.
The BENDIS Project is designed to close the digital divide in Liberia by providing schools with:
• Computer labs that build practical, future-ready digital skills
• Digital libraries loaded with curriculum-aligned learning resources
• Offline learning systems that function without reliable internet
• Educational tools and support for teachers to improve instruction

This is not a one-time benefit—it is a lasting investment in education. For many students in Liberia, access to a computer remains a distant dream—just as it once was for me. But I am living proof that one small act of generosity can open a door that changes everything.
Today, this work is my way of paying that one dollar forward—not just once, but hundreds of times over. When you support the BENDIS Project through Destiny Hands International, you are doing more than funding equipment. You are becoming the donor who opens the door for a child, a classroom, and an entire community.
Please donate through the Destiny Hands International website: www.destinyhands.org or via check. When donating, select Donate and include the note: “BENDIS Project – Liberia School.”
Students are waiting. Teachers are prepared. Your support will help us establish a functional, sustainable digital learning space that can serve hundreds of students over multiple years. It will help move this project from preparation to transformation.
One dollar opened my future. Together, we can open theirs.
