- Monday, Oct 6 from 6-9pm. Doors open at 6pm for the bar and seats. The movie will start about 6:30pm and panel discussion about 7:45pm. Doors close at 9pm. The film will be shown at the Embolden Beer Company off Miramar Road: Address is 8655 Production Ave, Ste A, SD, 92121.
- The movie is Beyond Zero is an inspiring true story about a successful CEO who comes to understand the negative environmental impact his company is making. Through great struggles, he reinvents his mission and turns his work into a profitable, successful, sustainable company. It's a great story of an exceptional, visionary leader, well told.
- There will be live entertainment by singer/ songwriter Niels Lund before the movie. There will also be an interesting panel discussion about business and sustainability with influential local businesspeople after.
- A food truck will be on site for some delicious food (vegetarian/ vegan options). The brewery is offering a 4-5 oz tasting flight at a discounted price of $10. You can choose from beer, sparkling tea, hard seltzer or hard lemonade. Note this will be a zero-waste event. Bringing your own water bottle is a great idea.
