Following the placement and retrieval of 17,000 flags by 400 volunteers for "Operation Flags for Vets" at Miramar National Cemetery, a team of 10 volunteers sorted, organized, and stored the flags in preparation for the next Memorial Day. Jim Frost, a member of the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club and proprietor of Frost Lumber, kindly provided storage space at his lumberyard on Miramar Road. Flags will be brought out again for next year's Memorial Day flag placement.
