The Chula Vista Rotary delivered 200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to the healthcare heroes at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. They showered local heroes with appreciation for their ongoing love and care for our community! Thank you to all the Chula Vista Rotarians who donated and participated in this service project. Here is the response they received from healthcare workers at Sharp Chula Vista: "Thank you again for the cookies! They went a long way to spread love! And the added detail of a homemade card made them extra special."
The club sent cookies to the ICU and to the Emergency Department, since they have been most impacted during this time, and it’s hard for them to leave the units. The rest were distributed during our “Show Love” event for staff on Valentine's Day.”
The club conducted a second round of Girl Scout cookie deliveries! In collaboration with Neisha’s Dance & Music Academy, the Rotary Club of Chula Vista donated cookies to the Heathcare Heroes at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.
