On November 23, the Santee-Lakeside Rotarians once again set out to assist the Santee Santas in preparing for the holiday season. The Santee Santas' hallmark initiative is their annual holiday toy and food drive, which aims to deliver the Christmas spirit to approximately 150-200 families within the Santee community. Numerous volunteers contribute to this community endeavor, but initially, thousands of boxes must be assembled to contain all the donations. This is where the Santee-Lakeside Rotarians come in, assembling the boxes with love and appreciation, embodying their motto "Service Above Self." This year, the Rotarians were joined by members of the newly established West Hills High School Interact Club and a few volunteers from Expressions Dance.
