Over the past few weeks, the Mission Valley Evening Rotary Club has been assisting the Rotary Club of Torrey Pines with their Care 'n Share Toy Drive at the San Diego County Fair. They have facilitated the transportation of donated items from the fair to a Mission Valley site for further delivery to the ultimate destination.
A remarkable total of 6,500 toys were gathered, enough to fill three single-car garages! By Tuesday, these toys were on their way to the border, destined for the children at Hospital Infantil de las Californias in Mexico.
