Oceanside Independence Day Parade

Join us on Saturday, July 1, 2017 for the 23rd annual Independence Parade as it makes it way north on Coast Highway from Wisconsin Avenue to Civic Center Drive (just past City Hall). Come see floats, bands, walking groups, cool cars and much more. Our theme this year is "STAR SPANGLED SALUTE".

The parade starts in front of the 101 Cafe (Coast Highway at Wisconsin Avenue) at 10:00 a.m. and works its way north with the first unit of the parade reaching City Hall around 10:15 a.m. Running time from beginning to end is about two hours. Viewing of the parade is available from the sidewalks along the entire route. Spectators are encouraged to bring folding chairs. The highest concentration of viewers will be on the north end of the route past Seagaze Avenue.

Ramona Rotary 25th Anniversary 4th of July Fireworks

4th of July Ramona Community Fireworks, the Ramona Rotary is planning its biggest fireworks show ever in Celebration of the 25th year Ramona Rotary Club had been presenting the Fireworks that are simulcast on KyXy Radio 96.5 FM. 

The fun will be on the back field at Olive Peirce Middle School on Hanson Lane from 5:00pm - 9:30, fireworks at 9:00pm. Kids activities, games, food and music. Bring your chairs and blankets.

Coronado 4th of July

The two largest events on July 4 are the Fourth of July parade at 10 a.m. along Orange Avenue, from First Street to Churchill Place, and the Fourth of July Fireworks Show over Glorietta Bay at 9 p.m. In between, there are many other activities, including a 12K Run and 5K Run-Walk; a rough-water swim; a community concert; and a parachute demonstration in Glorietta Bay.

Rancho Bernardo Old Fashioned Spirit of the 4th

The community of Rancho Bernardo will hold it’s annual “Old Fashioned Spirit of the 4th” on July 4, 2017.  There will be a wide variety of activities throughout the day including a Community Fair, Patriotic Pet Parade, Car Show, Veteran’s Memorial celebration, and a community parade starting at 3:30 pm.  Look for new President Michael Fuqua in one of the convertibles. The day will culminate with an evening fireworks and entertainment show at Rancho Bernardo High School.  For more information click
