What: Environmental Xperience at EarthX 2026: This global gathering unites visionaries, innovators, and changemakers from more than 100 countries to explore real, actionable solutions for a sustainable future. Rotary is one of many components of this larger event.

The Rotary Xperience at this event will be the world’s largest Rotary Environmental Sustainability Conference, featuring over 30,000 square feet of immersive exhibits at EarthX. Showcasing projects from 100+ countries and global speakers, the event will connect Rotarians worldwide through a live-streamed Rotary Stage reaching 200+ countries, where Rotarians live and serve to inspire action for a more sustainable future.

Our club, Solana Beach Eco-Rotary, has been granted a free booth space at this event to showcase our club and our projects. We are highlighting our two signature projects that are part of the 100 Country 100 Project program with opportunities to present these projects on stage to a global audience. Jenny's SMRT Garden project and the California Pollinator Collaborative project will be front and center. We are also working on a collaborative effort for the Tijuana River Project (Jenny will be presenting this at our next meeting). Our booth will be able to showcase any and all of the work we do. Let's hear your ideas!

Where: Hilton Anatole Trinity Exhibit Hall Dallas, Texas

When: April 20-22, 2026 Expo booth hours are 1pm-7pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. (Note that EarthX, the separate paid event, will run earlier hours, so you can attend each event if you wish. They are in the same venue, but separate events). Setup of the booth will be on the 19th and tear down won't be until 7pm on the 22nd.

Who: This event is open to everyone, everywhere. Carter, Jenny, and Alisa have committed to attending and hosting our booth. All our members are invited to join us and experience this amazing opportunity for our club.

Cost: Entrance to the Environmental Xperience (including the Rotary Xperience) is free to the public. Tickets for the EarthX are available for $400. Unfortunately, travel and expenses are the member's responsibility. Our club doesn't have a budget to support these costs.

Logistics: Dallas Love Field is the nearest airport, just a few miles from the event. The Hotel Anatole is the event location and may already be sold out (Steve Bender may have some reserved rooms available). The Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Market Center is right next door and a cost-effective alternative that's easily walkable. You may wish to come for the entire event or just part, and that's fine.

EARTH DAY is Wednesday April 22 and there will be some special awards and recognition sometime around 5pm that day (secret sources tell us that our club needs to be represented there). Barry Rassin, Rotary International President 2018-2019 will be a keynote speaker and presenting these awards. Exciting stuff!

Why: This event provides a high-visibility platform to connect with global sustainability leaders and organizations, expand our club’s network, showcase our service projects, educate and inspire us and our community impact through actionable environmental collaboration.

I want you to know that you are ALL invited. If you are not able to attend, you can still help. We need volunteers to help us develop video loops that we can have at our display. We also need to have some fresh marketing pieces and ideas for the booth. If this is something you want to help with, please let me know.

Exciting, right?? Lots of hyperlinks above so check it out and share your thoughts, comments, suggestions, questions….

Yours in service,

Alisa Morrison
