Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, friends of the surfing community and, of course, members of Surfers Unite will gather at La Jolla Shores on December 12-16 for the 2018 Stance ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championships.  There is still time to signup and volunteer.  Don't miss this opportunity to extend the invitation to your Interact Club members, neighbors and friends.

More details on this International Surfing Association event can be found  on our site: http://surfersuniterotarianfellowship.wildapricot.org/event-2966435.

What is the ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championships?

  • Over 200 para, disabled and visually impaired athletes representing over 25 countries;
  • Thousands cheering on from the shoreline, including family and friends who make the journey;
  • Fun-filled free event at La Jolla Shores on December 12-16;
  • 100% joy and inspiration;
  • If you have a country flag, bring it and cheer on Team USA, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Norway....you name it!
Here is hoping fellow Rotarians from around the District will get behind this event.  Surfers Unite Rotarian Fellowship will have a tent and volunteers will be on the sand and in the water, including Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors to ensure the event is a success.  We're already providing housing for six athletes and coaches from Argentina, however, those who would like to get more involved can contact Brett Morey, Founder of Surfers Unite at 858-602-2532.  You may also visit: www.surfersunite.org
