The District has just received word from the Government of India that they are planning to hold a polio National Immunization Day (NID) on January 19, 2020. We will be organizing a group program to Delhi and Uttar Pradesh to participate in the NID and house-to-house activities. This will be the 32nd such trip we have organized to take North American Rotarians to participate in a polio NID. In addition to participating in the polio immunization activities, we will meet with the World Health Organization and local Rotary clubs in Delhi and Jaipur. A couple of days have been carved out to travel to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and Jaipur to see the Pink City.
The planning group is still putting together the itinerary and more will be coming out about this during the week of October 28, if not earlier. This is informational only for those who may want to block some time off your very busy calendars if you are interested in participating. More to come.
