Earning the Rotary Citation is an incredible honor for clubs to achieve. Formerly called the Presidential Citation, the Rotary Citation recognizes Clubs that are strong and making a positive difference in their communities by achieving goals related to Rotary’s three strategic priorities: to support and strengthen clubs, focus and increase humanitarian service, and enhance Rotary’s public image and awareness.

Rotary has published a brochure that helps explain to clubs both required and optional steps to take to achieve the award. This year’s Rotary Citation will recognize clubs that complete activities that support these priorities, as well as clubs that are making a difference. Clubs will have the entire Rotary year — 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018 — to achieve the citation’s goals.
