The first week at the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand is going well since beginning June 10.  The class is made up of 22 Fellows who come from  different conflict zones and fields related to peacebuilding.  The classes so far have covered  the topics of the local city and university orientation, what the Rotary Peace Center does through their relationship with Rotary International, Thailand's history, politics and conflicts. Additional topics include trauma and self-care, discussing emerging global threats and opportunities for solutions, Southeast Asian cooperation and disagreements, and learning about each other's work and personal backgrounds.  There has been high levels of solidary despite having just met.  Coming together is a core theme of the program.
