This year on Saturday, Oct 20 from 2 pm to 5 pm, Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary Club will host their only fundraising event for the year. For the third year, this event will be held at Webb Lake Park in Rancho Bernardo (RB). The funds from this event support such programs and organizations such as:
• Support for Abraxas High School in Poway
• Support for veterans via Team Red White and Blue
• Providing introduction to STEM careers via scholarships for AAUW
Tech Trek summer camp at UCSD
• An AIDS orphanage in South Africa
• Support for a children's hospital in Uganda
• A house build project in Mexico
• Support for the Ed Brown Senior Center in RB

This event has been building on the success of previous year's events and the positive feedback about the event and the venue. The club's marketing has brought many attendees from the Los Angeles area, many who have now attended past BEERnardo events.
This event is a community event because Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary Club relies on the support of volunteers from other organizations in RB who are recipients of grants from the club as well as volunteers from the Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo.
This year's event will be offering beer tastings of the best of local craft beers. There will also be wine and food for purchase at the event. Live entertainment and games will contribute to a great experience for our guests who will have seating in the shade provided by the trees in the park.
