It was Red Shoe Day on June 21, 2018 and members of the Rotary Club of Poway-Scripps were in good company. They were among 1,500 volunteers stationed at key intersections in San Diego during morning drive time. Carrying big red shoes and cans, volunteers encouraged commuters to donate spare change or dollars.

Red Shoe Day is the largest volunteer-driven fundraiser for San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House.  Members had the honor of representing the busy corner of Scripps Poway Parkway and Community Road, just up the hill from their weekly meeting spot.
