Dear Rotarians of District 5340:One of the great joys in life is working with fellow Rotarians to help make the world a better place for those who are less fortunate. Few Rotary districts do more than you. Your extraordinary humanitarian projects and your incredible generosity set a benchmark for the entire Rotary world. For many years, I have been impressed with the accomplishments of so many good friends in District 5340. District Governor, Marta has said it is well in this year's motto: Making good happen together with love, compassion and joy.
The world needs Rotary as much today as it ever has. And, the world needs Rotarians and the good work of Rotarians as much as ever. It is said that to understand the future, one should first look to history. The history of District 5340 shows that you will respond vigorously and effectively to the urgent needs of people in your local communities and around the world.
