It is the Club's tradition to invite students from the Reality Changers program to participate in this event.  Reality Changers is a non-profit organization based in San Diego that provides tutoring and mentoring services to high school students aspiring first-generation college students in San Diego County.  Reality Changers has a 98% success rate for getting participants into college.

Speaker, Angel Vargas of Hoover High School challenged the notion of standardized testing in secondary education.  Speaker, Ariana Bermudez of Patrick Henry High School spoke on the topic of the stigma of mental illness in our society; and Speaker, Aaron Russam of San Diego High School focused his speech on the struggle of minorities in the USA.  All three were excellent speeches.  The Club ultimately selected Ariana Bermudez as the winner of the Four-Way Test Speech Contest.
