On Saturday, April 27, 2019, 38 people gathered to clean the Alvarado Creek and walking path in La Mesa. The La Mesa Sunrise Rotary, Interact and Rotract volunteers worked in conjunction with I Love a Clean San Diego to remove almost 400 pounds of trash and debris from the creek and surrounding areas. It was a beautiful day spent with nice friends who care about keeping our parks, creeks and other waterways free from trash.
