With nearly 45.5 million household television viewers in the United States of America and internationally in more than 200 countries, the Rotary float in this year's Tournament of Roses Parade exposed the cause of Rotary in a very dramatic way through a very high-profile float theme of SERVICE ROCKS. The design is a rockin' Crocodile playing a keyboard and surrounded by sea animals and 20 Rotarians all promoting Rotary and how service rocks!

The Float Committee is comprised of 83 members from 27 Rotary Districts in the USA and Canada.  For the past 39 nears, the Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee have led volunteers to raise funds, choose a float design chooses riders and supervise 800 Rotarian volunteers to decorate the float.  This year's chairman was Walt Stephens.  A big thank you goes out to Walt and his committee and to the many Rotarian volunteers who helped support and decorate this years float.
