The Rotary Club of Coronado organized a massive tree planning in one of the areas burned near Julian in the Cedar Fire several years ago.  After a District-wide invitation, Rotarians from more than 14 clubs joined together on Sunday, April 15 to meet RI President, Ian Riseley's, challenge to plant a tree for every member.

Two hours - That's all it took to plant 1000 cedar seedlings.  Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors came together and had a great time digging holes, enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery and eating tacos.

Now that's the power of Rotary!
