Rotary District 5340 invites members, clubs, leaders, friends, and guests to one of the most anticipated celebrations of the Rotary year, the 2026 Governors Dinner, taking place Friday, June 26 at the San Diego Air & Space Museum in beautiful Balboa Park.

This special evening brings the district together to celebrate the service, fellowship, leadership, and lasting impact created by clubs and members across San Diego and Imperial Counties throughout the 2025–2026 Rotary year. It will also recognize the transition from outgoing District Governor Luis Carranza to incoming District Governor Jeb Bakke, as District 5340 prepares for another year of service and impact.

More than a formal event, the Governors Dinner is a celebration of Rotary in action, recognizing the dedication of clubs, the spirit of members, and the shared commitment to strengthening communities locally and around the world. Club presidents will also be sworn in, marking the beginning of a new chapter of leadership across the district.

Guests will enjoy a unique and engaging experience, including a reception, dinner program, awards, and fellowship, along with exclusive evening access to the museum’s galleries and special exhibitions, including Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Space: Our Greatest Adventure.

With the theme “Don’t Miss the Bus to Top Fun,” the evening blends celebration and inspiration, serving as a reminder that Rotary is not only about service, but about connection, purpose, and the relationships that make service possible.

Early bird registration is now open through May 15. Members, clubs, leaders, friends, and guests are encouraged to secure their place early and be part of this memorable evening. Don’t miss the bus. Register today. https://rotarydistrict5340.ticketspice.com/governors-dinner-2026.
