Compassion for African Villages, a 501c3 organization, is partnering with the Rotary Club of El Cajon Sunset, the La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Rotarkidz: Box of Books and the Robert Massaquoi Foundation to provide educational resources to needy school children in Liberia. Their most recently completed book drive resulted in 30,000 being shipped to Liberia. The clubs' efforts have started up again with a large amount of text books being donated by the Santee School District, which were secured by the Santee-Lakeside Rotary Club. There is a short timeframe to get these books sorted, packaged and crated; a call for help is being requested.
