Rotary Online Training
Do you need to learn about Rotary? Cant' get to a training event? The Rotary International Website has some resources you can use.
In addition to learning opportunities provided at our district level, the Rotary International website has resources for learning about specific topics in the Learning Center. To access this information, you need to establish a logon and password to get to My Rotary. Once you log on and get to My Rotary from the Rotary International home page, you will a tab that says Learning and Reference. Clicking on that link will take you to a page that has all of the choices about learning opportunities. This is also the source for downloading Rotary documents including the Manual of Procedures.
Rotary at the Gulls
Frank De Francesco, who organized the Rotary at the Gulls event recently, reports that 120 Rotarians, family and friends attended the Friday night game. Frank reports that everyone had a great time even though the seats were scattered around the arena. Rotary is about having fun together so that we can network more effectively because we know each other.
District Training Assembly
On March 19, District 5340 will hold Training Assembly 2016. This valuable seminar is your club's opportunity to get board member and executive training for the next Rotary year. The assembly will have breakout sessions that will train your club members to be more effective in their respective roles in your club. Plan now to have your club's leadership team attend this learning opportunity.
