After having earlier helped to identify and register approximately 430 families who will be participating in this year's Salvation Army, Citadel branch, Toy and Joy program, Rotary Club of La Jolla members began two days of helping to sort, pack and organize food, clothing and gift items. On Saturday Dec 19, the organizing will continue with the addition of wrapping gifts for the selected families.

La Jolla Rotarians will also participate in The Salvation Army's donation collection project by ringing bells at Von's market on Girard street.

Also, as in prior years, the Rotary Club of La Jolla will provide food and entertainment to residents of League House in a sing-long. League House is a project of the Social Services League of La Jolla. League House provides subsidized housing for low income seniors.
