International acclaimed pianist Violeta Petrova will be featured in "A Midsummer Night's Music," a concert of classical favorites ranging from Bach and Brahms to Chopin and Stravinsky, at the Carlsbad Library's Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

The concert by the famed pianist starts at 7:00 p.m. with a welcome reception preceding in the courtyard beginning at 6:oo p.m. and a post-show social, also in the courtyard, from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Guests will be able to meet Perova - whom one reviewer called a "great visionary artist," and another "a magnificent musician richly gifted musically and artistically," - for autographs and photos.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Rotary Club of Carlsbad, which will use the funds for its various charitable efforts, both on the community and international levels.  During the welcoming reception there will be a silent auction and raffle.  Items include a 14k white gold ruby and diamond necklace.  You won't want to miss it.

The Rotary Club of Carlsbad is fortunate to count Violeta Petrova as one of its members, and who has graciously volunteered her time and talent to help the Club raise funds to further its mission of Service Above Self.  Click here for ticket pricing and more information.
