NewsBits Stories Needed

NewsBits is the district's forum for letting the world know about what is happening in your club.  I have gotten questions about how to submit a story or announcement to NewsBits, so I have written a How To Document and placed it on the district website so that it will always be available for reference.
 
The document answers questions about what is needed and what formats are appropriate.   There are also some hints about best practices for your submission. Remember that, whether you are submitting an announcement or a story about an event that has already occurred, you are telling a story. Your submission should give enough information to allow the reader to understand what you are trying to tell them.  A quote about the success of the event or the reaction to your event are great enhancements to make your submission more interesting.  Pictures should also help tell your story.  Event pictures should show people participating or working in the event.  Smiling faces in your pictures will "sell" your story.
