Greeters Needed for International Assembly!
International Assembly is once again approaching, and the fun day of Greeting incoming District Governors Elects as they arrive for their final training. This year we will Greet the DGEs on Sunday, January 12.
We have posted the sign-up page right here. There will be 3 shifts at San Diego International Airport on Sunday January 12th, also 3 shifts at the Hyatt Hotel to Greet the governor-elects as they arrive by air, or coach at the hotel. The shifts will be at: 8:00 am – 11:00, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, and 2:00 pm – 5:00. You may sign up for more than one shift if you chose.
On Thursday evening January 16th there will be a reception provided at the Hyatt Hotel for all volunteers, 7:30 – 8:30 pm. (there will be signs to direct you) The President of Rotary International will be there personally to thank you. This is great opportunity to have your picture taken with President Ron Burton. Immediately following the reception please join us for “Entertainment Night” presented by the incoming governors. This has as always been a delightful evening of entertainment with many colorful native costumes.
There is an additional opportunity to serve at the district's information desk in the Hyatt Hotel. Volunteers help coordinated efforts between governor-elects and clubs that are hosting events.
